I'm one of those who yield to the opposing traffic from Holland Rd. To me it's a no brainer, but I've had drivers behind me blow their horns in a futile attempt to get me to turn in front of the opposing traffic. I also see traffic from Holland road hesitate as if they're expecting to have traffic turn in front of them. The configuration of the intersection isn't THAT much different than a typical 90 degree intersection, but your suggested signage is a good one. How about a little police presence at the intersection. Can't count the number of times I've had near misses with people turning left from 148.
