Tom, Mary and Scot were very polite to me.Gingernoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1377411732843394854.post-7510437552643398042010-09-21T09:55:56.692-04:002010-09-21T09:55:56.692-04:00I'd like to publicly thank Virginia Peabody fo...I'd like to publicly thank Virginia Peabody for standing up and voicing her opinion at last night's Selectmen's meeting. She knows a lot about the workings of this town and has spent many years in public service for Sturbridge. I read that the chairman of the board who stated that three members of the board always knew they could use our Chapter 90 funds to pay for the brick sidewalks, told her that this debate is done. This debate is not done. People all over town are upset and will be for a long time to come! By the way, that new sidewalk looks like a patchwork quilt strangely made of a combination of brick and concrete - not a soft and pleasant look at all, but rather an unpleasant and uncomfortable design that will forever remind us how this project was done.Cricket toonoreply@blogger.com
