Snellville

    This is Snell Manufacturing plant in Massachusetts? I noticed this post because of the title 'Snellville.'
    I live in Snellville Georgia...do they call this plant or area Snellville in MA?

    Yes, Darla, this is an old photo of a factory that manufactured augers here in Sturbridge, MA. This section of town is the village of Fiskdale, and this particular area became known as Snellville because of the factory. Old timers here in town still remember the area as Snellville, but it isn't referred to that today by many.
